A special moment that i enjoyed with my family would most likely be over the festive season, during Christmas and the new year.My grandfather had flown all the way down from Holland(which was suffering from a freezing winter), to celebrate Christmas and the New year with us. During this time we were very peaceful and i enjoyed that time greatly. During that period we enjoyed many things. Especially during Christmas day and boxing day. We had scrumptious food prepared by my mother, and enjoyed opening up the presents the next day. However the most special moment was on new years eve. We walked down to a overpass nearby which had a good position to see the fireworks. There we waited for 15 minutes for a dazzling display of fireworks. Sure enough, they did not disappoint. We watched with awe as the beautiful lights exploded in the distance then cascaded down to earth in a shimmering veil. The fireworks continued to captivate us right till the lat ember floated down. After that we wished each other Happy New Year and began to walk home, not without throwing glances behind, hoping that there would be one more exploding flower lighting up the sky. There were none. "it's OK" i thought to myself, because i knew that next year we would be back, as one family to witness the spectacle again. A picture of the fireworks that day
